Giant, prolapsed assholes.  Sorry, we’s not supposed to use swears in the title line.

But yeah, these two plastic squadrons are expected to win their domestic leagues in their sleep.  As such, Shempions League is their exclusive “dick measuring” domain, and one is about to go out before the Flacco Eight.  Which will mean recriminations and firings, bare minimum.

Coverage starts at 3p EST, on CBS and TUDN (en espanol).  Should be tense and maybe we’ll even get a fight or three.

Various ESPNs also probably have early round JV hoopsball conference tourneys.  I am still yet to watch any basketball all season, and am a bit surprised to not really miss it.

It’s a bit weird when I think about it. As a kid I just liked Big East basketball more than any other league at the time and I thought the Orange were interesting and then they signed that Canuck kid Leo Rautins so I was interested in his progress. The intensity of the play made the ACC, PAC10 and the Big 10 look like inferior leagues in my eyes. They had some amazing recruiting classes, the rivalries caught fire and I was a Cuse fan.

/it had absolutely nothing to do with the coach for several years until the ‘can’t win the big one’ narrative surfaced

To offset Hippo not watching any college ball this year, I’ll be pitching in and watching the Women’s Big Sky Champeenship. It’s all about balance and we’re a bit off-kilter right now.

Scotchy, I’m getting this from Uconn twitter, so it might be a tad biased, but did Syracuse go way down early, switch to a man press and fight almost all the way back, only for Jim to immediately switch back to the 2-3 zone?

They were up early, then were down by 8-10, switched to a press, took the lead with the press and then nestled back down into the zone and waited for Wake to catch up again.
