I imagine some of you work apes are up against some end-of-year deadlines and I’m no different. I’ll not be able to give this game the attention it deserves But first…
Flotsam and Jetsam:
-I rarely give a twaddle about what siblings of NFL football players are up to unless of course they’re valet parking a stolen vehicle. That’s what Puka’s brother did the other day. The idiocy abides…
-The Bears play perhaps their most important game in a decade + on Saturday vs the Packers and they’ll be without both Odunze and Burden. DJ Moore is a more than capable wr but after that it’s Duvernay and Jahde Walker. May as well tie one hand behind Caleb’s back while we’re at it.
-What is Tua’s Bench #?: Apparently it’s three (games) because he’s been reduced to an emergency QB. Should we talking about Coach McDaniel’s White Magic? Everyone was calling for his neck a scant two months ago and yet he won the battle between himself and the GM. And now he’s putting out to pasture a 54 mil QB and everyone is good with it. This guy has taken down his boss and his star player and he seems to have expended no effort whatsoever. I’m in awe of the guy.
To The Game!
Rams/Seahawks:
-FanDuel Query: I’d love to the know the odds on Nacua getting an OPI penalty this evening.
-Darnold, who is sporting a 5/1 TD/INT number across the last 4 games (all wins, btw) is getting all kinds of grief from fans and sports yakkers alike. They want this guy to fail so bad. The narrative could be that while he goes through a mediocre (not even bad, mind you) stretch the Seattle defense has reached another level. They’ve surrendered a mere 25 points over the last three tilts.
-This is the very best Thursday Night matchup ever. Why? It’s the first time that two 3 loss teams have met on this hallowed evening.
He Likes What He Likes: The third/fourth receiver on the Rams is a non-entity. They’ve had all of 54 catches all season.
Get going!
