This three game window is a mixed bag as they usually are-we’ve got a banger and then… Let’s take a look.
To The Games!
Rams/Saints:
Derek Carr is a sneaky fantasy play if you’ve got him. He had 18 points or more in the two games before the bye and this Rams D gives up the 8th-most passing yards to quarterbacks. The Rams are in that most enviable and unique of positions, sitting in last place, one game out of first. Shoutout to New Orleans new coach [does a Google] Darren Rizzi who has guided his team to two straight wins.
Bucs/Panthers:
Annnd here’s the lousy, non-descript game. [takes a deep breath] Anyway, kudos to those that drafted and then sat on Bucky Irving as long as you did because he now seems to be #1 in the pecking order. Hopefully this tilt has a bit more scoring than the last time these teams met-that final score was 9-0, Bucs.
Eagles/Ravens:
Any running back looking for an extension or a new contract this next offseason owes a debt of gratitude to King Henry and especially Saquon who have both put some juice into the argument that those that play the position are not interchangeable/disposable. This is the first game featuring rb’s that both have 1,300+ yards rushing since 2012 when Adrian Peterson and Arian Foster hooked up. (phrasing?) For a clue as to how the game might unfold I’ll throw some numbers at you and you can tell me which one doesn’t belong. Eagles offense: #3. Eagles defense: #1. Ravens offense: #1. Ravens defense: #24. (though their rush D is #2)
Have at it.
