Monday Night Open Thread – Soon, so soon

The penultimate off-season Monday Night Open Thread.  Soon, we will have games to soothe our eyes and the Manning brothers to entertain us masses.  No rabbits in the banner tonight, will have to post in comments when I can get the images to download.  We gave our fluffiest rabbit her bi-monthly haircut and she went from looking like a Shitzu to looking like an emaciated scottish terrier.  My wife’s styling skills are rather rudimentary so Snickers has lots of speed lines giving her sort an art deco look.

For Senor Weaslo I have the below picture taken at the North Carolina Farmers Market, I did not buy any, I have never heard of peach habaneros, they were peach colored and the vendor said their were hints of peach in the taste.  Right, like I would be able to taste anything as my tongue melts down due to the heat.  Still not sure how my wife got me to agree to this outing, gotta be careful to maintain the hermit image.

This was really beautiful in person, and they had so many peppers, including those little asian peppers that the heat creeps up till your esophagous dissolves and omeprazole becomes the latest addition to the pill dispenser.  Also picked up several tomato varietals to use in a cucumber/tomato salad.  It was good to see that there were so many varieties available.  Dammit, forgot to get bacon while I was at the store, one of the tomatos is earmarked for BLTs.  THAT, is the best sandwich if the bacon and veggies are fresh and tasty.  Fight me.

Anyway, teams are making some hard and well, some not so hard, decisions on who to keep and who to waive.  Not going to do a rundown here becuause it will have changed by the time this will have been published and I am by nature, lazy.

Discuss why someone was dropped, not dropped, or made the starter to your hearts content.  Contiue to make fun of Jerry Jones and his whims (I meant decisions) and how they make the Cowboys so much fun to watch, for their adversaries at least.  Sorry Horatio.
