I feel like there’s shrinkflation going on with the salsa they sell at Costco, except instead of giving you less, they’re making it more watery. It makes it harder to scoop; I’d rather they just kept it the same and put in a smaller package.

I did some serious decluttering today. A big box of books and a bunch of my son’s old toys, but I kept his action figures, hot wheels, and five stuffies. Maybe someday I’ll be able to part with those, but I’m still not ready. It’s been almost 16 years since Ben died, I probably won’t ever be! Everything that’s left fits in his toy box, so it’s at least contained. Three garbage bags full of ( my) clothes, and a bunch of hangers are going too. I’m going to buy a wardrobe from Ikea so I can put my clothes in there and use my closet for the stuff that’s in my ridiculously expensive storage unit. $113 bucks for a 5X 5, what a fucking racket!
I have to get my taxes done tomorrow, I think there’s a donation spot near there.

I know, it’s ridiculous how expensive they are. It’s just an outdoor shed! Mine only has my Christmas stuff, two boxes of Gumby’s sports memorabilia, and some tools I can easily donate., and should have already. The rest of the stuff will fit in my closet, once I get a wardrobe from IKEA. I moved from a house twice as big as my current apartment, and I got rid of shit tons of crap, but I still have plenty more to let go of.

I’m calling it the Diet NIT.

Don’t worry, I hadn’t known about it, either. It was started last year, this is the second tournament of it’s existence. Nebraska won it last year, and then won their first two-ever NCAA Tournament games this season, so CLEARLY WVU is going to at least the Sweet 16 next year!

I also only found out last week that the Big 12 (16), Big East, and B1G are contractually obligated to play in the CBC over the NIT.
