As such, I will observe that the 2017 Whisky of the Year from my favourite online store is the KILCHOMAN MACHIR BAY 2016, Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
It’s not my flavour, because Islay’s smell & taste like a pissed-on bonfire. The site describes it as “fresh and fruity with a rich layer of wood smoke adding character and complexity.” So, to each their own.
