Snaxx Episode 15 – Something a little different.

Good morning. I hope you are all well and on your way to being double vaxxed.

This week I’m doing something a little different as life gets in the way blah blah blah. One evening I saw this item on twitter and that it was available in Canada so I immediately sent it to my wife. She was in as something like this could either be absolutely fantastic or just awful. . I kid you not we ordered it that evening AFTER a very nice Moroccan chicken couscous. I am that devoted to my craft. I did message Yeah Right to see if we could do another fast food part 2 but no dice, only available up here. 

 I give you the Pizza Hut’s KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza.

Personally I do not think that it broke the internet, unless that was what happened with our server. As we know The Colonel is part of the pentaverate.

My first issue is that you can only order it in pan style and stuffed crust was not an option. I mean that was groundbreaking when the stuffed crust came around stoners and cheese lovers (nawt Hippo) rejoiced. My buddy used to deliver pizzas in the Rockies and also was my weed dealer and he would hand make stuffed crust pizzas for us with good cheese. That was a good racket for him back in the day.

Even if I couldn’t get it extra greasy it had to be done. Some people love KFC gravy and you would think that it would be noticeable here but it isn’t very noticeable taste wise. The popcorn chicken gives it a salty kick because the sweet corn obviously sweetens it out. I definitely miss tomato sauce as it just doesn’t have that tangy zip. I have to say that I am rather disappointed in this effort as it would have been better to have a pizza with popcorn chicken as a side. 

I would only order this again if it came in stuffed crust, because I am a glutton. 

Have a great week as up here in Alberta we have passed every state and province for the Rona! Our government saw that it was so serious that they took 2 weeks off from sitting, but teachers still are teaching away with only Monday getting the green light to get vaxxed.
