I’m pretty sure by Canadian law, every Canadian had to know the lyrics of at least one OLP song. (In addition to every Tragically Hip song)
Due to our Canadian culture laws, when a band like OLP breaks through the US, they essentially get played round the clock here. Except Nickelback. That was America’s fault.
I saw them open up for Van Hagar before they got big. They got booed off the stage. Then the second band came out which was Skid Row with a fairly ample sized Sebastian Bach still squeezed into shiny leather pants.
If you are going Salt N Pepa this is a far better choice Zymm. The fact I still have 2 backups says more about me though

I should like Alanis, but the shitty “Ironic” song just put me off.
This is her only song I’ll listen to voluntarily. I loved the ironic juxtaposition of my innocent childhood to the reality here. Great bass line, too.
