What I have learned from reading/watching Game of Thrones reviews in season 6 from book readers. Their smug, holier than though, we know better attitude is only based on reading other peoples theories online. They get details wrong constantly on things that are happening in the show that would be new to them, but still get dickish about potential things they read in the books.

I know they talked to GRRM about the big moves but I like the way things are going in the series and the constant speculations from book readers is getting kind of sad because they were so smug and now have to flail wildly like the rest of us. Or not. I’m trying hard not to speculate and I hope the book readers’ guesses as to things like Lady S are totally off base.
I am hoping they are wrong on that one too.
This rant was based off of the 20th time I saw book readers calling Margaery’s note vague. First, everyone knows that is their house sigil. Second, even non book readers might know their family words “Growing Strong” that accompany it as what she meant. Third, forget about knowing any of that, she passed her a note and the Queen of Thorns knew what to do.
Yeah, that couldn’t be more clear.

So I got to meet Slash and Andre Royo (Bubbles from The Wire) tonight. Both were incredibly nice.
I heard Royo on a podcast a ways back, might have been Maron’s. Sounded like a decent, sincere guy.
And I don’t recall ever hearing a bad word about Slash ever.
He was incredibly nice, and really did his absolute best not to be patronizing when I told him how thrilled I was to have opened up Welcome to the Jungle on Guitar Hero.
Everything I’ve heard about Slash has been positive.
