Contrary to popular opinion, I stand by my assertion that Iggles/Falcons was a really good footballing contest. At least in the 2nd half, when the yips settled down. It was more about hard-hitting, proper DEFENSING FOOTBAW, like in days of yore. When I was a young lad watching in front of my fireplace, on a console teevee box that weighed about 70% as much as an elephant. Give Foles some credit, but give his offensive coordinator more for calling 2nd half plays he could successfully execute – as that made all the difference. I wasn’t super wild about the call to kick a FG on 4th and 1 at the 3, up 12-10, but with the kind of effort Philly’s D was putting forth…I understand it. It was a tough call either way. Anyway, it all came down to one play from the 2 yard line. ATL didn’t have the balls to run (mathematically correct), but they did somehow get Julio in man coverage (would he have been had he not initially fallen down?) and it just didn’t happen. Proper playoff footballing, if you ask me. You even had a fucker in a dog mask after the game.
And importantly…no possibility of dreaded Superb Owl rematch of merde. None. Zero.
Which is good, because in the nightcap…the refs blatantly cheated. That’s all there is to it. What started as a compelling fixture turned to shit because of bent officiating. It was like pro rasslin’ or the fookin’ NBA out there. Or a college hoopsball contest involving Dook/U*NC. I don’t say this often, because it is VERY RARELY true anymore…but NFL, you ought be better than that. Marcus and the Tits were a compelling storyline for REAL Greater Footy fans, and you shat all over it. FOAR SHAME.
I did not watch one second of the Titans game. I think I’m making better decisions in 2018!
I work at a liquor store, and I knew the Titans were proper fucked because right around halftime I got a rush of customers buying at least 2 bottles each, bitching about Mariota getting owned and saying they were going home. They love Mariota here, because DUCKS DUCKS DUCKS. Uggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggh.

I didn’t think the Titans had much of a chance to beat the Patriots, but once I saw that bullshit “offensive interference” against Decker I knew they had zero chance.
Thinking the same thing. It was barely second quarter and just a rash of bullshit penalties to the point that I couldn’t enjoy the game.

In retrospect, it should have been obvious to me from the non-call (of defensive pass interference) on the first Titans touchdown.

I agree with Hippo on the Birds v Birds game. That was fun, really good football. I too wish Pederson would have gone for it on 4th and 1, but it made for an exciting finish.
The officiating was bad, yes. But so we’re the Tits, let’s face it. They couldn’t protect Mariota and when he did have time his throws were often errant. Meanwhile Brady had somebody open in the middle of the field for 8 to 12 yards on EVERY FUCKING PLAY.
The refs were more like the difference between a 35-14 Patriots win and a 28-24 Patriots win.
If my Foles are sore feom the filling yesterday will they heal for next week?
