Last week’s theme for Request Line was “chemistry”. It took a little while for the Commentists’ reaction to gain steam, but once it did, it got EXPLOSIVE! In tribute to that, the pick of the week goes to Game Time Decision, whose request of “Volcano Girls” by Veruca Salt ticks off a pair of boxes with nods to both sodium chloride and that classic science fair experiment of making a volcano erupt by mixing baking soda + vinegar. Honorable mention goes to litre_cola with “Nature of the Experiment” by Tokyo Police Club, because by the time you’re reading this I’ll be on my way to Japan. As always, here’s your Spotify link.
This week’s Request Line will be hosted by Low Commander of the Super Soldiers. Please be sure to show him a proper welcome!
I always miss this stuff.

Didn’t see that someone slipped some Eva Cassidy in here. Nice. (And that’s not even a 69 joke)

Greetings from LAX. I’d invite you to join me for a cocktail but… I’m afraid you wouldn’t be allowed in this part of the airport.
