Let’s keep it going. You’d think we’d get more than four offerings in the late slate but I think Wednesday took one from us.
To The Games!
Fins/Raiders:
It kinda feels that Miami fans are in the same rudderless boat as Cleveland supporters right now. Even three wins feels like a big ask. Any thoughts on how many weeks it takes Fernando to get up to speed? Perhaps turn things over at the bye? Vegas has its share of question marks as well but you can sorta see a silver lining if you squint real hard.
Packers/Vikes:
A division tussle right off the top? Some of these teams need to follow the college example and schedule a Huckleberry State and get off on the right foot. It’ll be interesting to see if coach McConnell can work some of the old magic with Wee Willie Kyler. He’s always been a half-decent option in fantasy and I expect that to be the case again but he’s no Leader Of Men as the old school coaches like to say.
Commies/Eagles:
Can Philly get back to the team they were 2 years ago or will the players (with plenty of help from fans and sports media) find a way to bicker and implode? Washington desperately needs rook lb Sonny Styles to breathe some life into that moribund defense, and fast.
Cards/Chargers:
I can’t see Brissett maintaining last year’s roll. Sure, we’ve seen some late-bloomers at the spot recently but this guy is 33, it’s the Cards and he was lit up (sacked) 45 times last year. It’s a minor miracle he didn’t get concussed back to the Stone Age. Does Omarion Hampton become a star this year? Both my fantasy rosters say, “Yes!” So, probably not.
Have at it.
