I have heard of this show and that it’s a Dan Harmon thing, and yet I have not seen it. But the comparison to Bob’s Burgers means I’m in.
All of you Rick and Morty devotees also have 5 glorious seasons of Dan Harmon’s Community to binge, assuming you haven’t already.

Curiously, Mr. Robot has rocketed up to #3 based on its pilot alone. I watched it last night and loved it; I hope it continues to be as good.
Mr. Robot’s pilot was damned near perfect. I’m running around demanding that people watch it.
I liked it so far too.
Spoiler alert:
Semi-bug-eyed paranoia, social awkwardness, boredom with the banal, hot female long-time friend dating a complete douchebag; all these things are right in my wheelhouse for enjoyment.
You can watch the whole shebang RIGHT NOW on YouTube, were you so inclined. If it helps, my wife watched it with me and loved it.
I’m in the same boat. I’ll need to binge it this holiday weekend.

OH GOD, YES. Louise Belcher is maybe the best animated character of all time.
She is my kindred spirit without a doubt. And you just became a close second.
Louise learning to drive absolutely kills me. Every time I drive through a parking lot now I head dead straight while going “huuuuuh, huuuuuh, huuuuuuh.”

Bob’s Burgers is my favorite show right now. By a mile.
It’s the one show that I watch with my kids that all four of us agree is really, really great.
We DO watch other stuff together, just with varying degrees of enthusiasm.
Bob’s Burgers is also terrific. I miss them when the season is over, and I didn’t miss the Simpsons at their height during the summer.
Celebrity name-dropping time! Mike (Balls of Steel) and I watched the Super Bowl with the guy (Keisuke Hoashi) who did the voice of Hawk in the “Hawk and Chick” episode. He fell asleep during the game.
Seven degrees of separation time! In San Diego I dated a girl whose cousin dated Keisuke (though Keisuke and I didn’t meet until several years later, through his girlfriend, who I went to high school with). That cousin: Iris Yamashita – screenwriter of “Sands of Iwo Jima”.
My prediction; you will fucking love this show. I know by making this statement I’m putting a lot on the line, perhaps the continuance of western civilization, but I’m going ahead with this because I believe it.
