Monday Evening Open Thread – Has WWWIII kicked off yet?

I am finally feeling better after what I have decided was one of my worst weeks of being ill.  If you see anyone coughing, sneezing or looking really exhausted, stay away from them or keep a cloud of Lysol between you and them.  The exhaustion was actually the worst part of the whole experience.  Anyway, I am feeling better, at least well enough to Carpenter tonight’s post.

Baseball News: really don’t care, but that Mets v. Giants game was a good one last night.

On the gaming front, I am happy to say that none of the games on my Steam wishlist were removed by the censorship of payers.  What a joke, they won’t allow us to pay in legal tender for items that are legal to purchase based on a small groups vocal outcry based on spurious moral charges?  Waiting for the class action law suit, because it is restraint of trade in my books, which I know the lawyers in the kommentist will correct me by pointing out how incorrect my book is and how it is obviously a work of fiction, bearing no relationship to reality.  The entire concept boggles my mind, the conspiracy theories are amazing.  The card agencies were the ones who wanted this, it is the first step in shutting down independent games developers, and other theories.  Me, the truth will probably contain parts of all of them.  Nothing is ever cut and dried.
