Perhaps I am just looking for a shiny ring to rest my Bay Area hat on since the Sharks loss to the Preds last night tempers my enthusiasm, it sure as hell isn’t the dumpster fire of the Niners, and we’ll have to see how the Giants fair in the long run, but surely my bandwagonning would have to justified by the performance of a knee-injured, fresh-off-the-pine Steph Curry, right? Let’s say your alien ship landed last night and for whatever reason your people needed to learn about the basketballs, watching that game last night is there any way to not have been impressed? The reason why I really enjoy what the Warriors do really comes down to their depth chart with which they had managed to still stay 2-1 over Rip City in the series, but despite how enjoyable find the team dynamics of the Warriors, it is impossible to not be a little impressed when it turns out that your opponent happens to have a secret weapon.
Curry may be a sure thing for MVP later this week, but he might have done just enough to garner him a unanimous vote.
If for no other reason, seeing this expression on Paul Allen’s face, along with just about everyone else in Portland, as priceless.
I apologize to everyone for my double dose of lesser sports and Northern California love affair. It’s my greatest weakness…. Northern California sports and booze, I guess
