Oh, I forgot to mention – I was within “oh, did I bump into you, I’m such a klutz, I apologize” distance of the Laker Girls when they walked by me on the concourse at Dodger Stadium the other night.
Ever notice that the first beer, (admittedly a 22 oz.), can be sipped in a gentlemanly fashion for the better part of a tense baseball game, but that the 3rd one goes down faster than a $2 whore at 3 am? or is that just me?
I’m already starting to debate driving to Boston next Friday to see Social Distortion or playing in my monthly league poker tournament.
Last time I saw Social D in Boston they mailed it in. Of course the last time I saw them in Hartford they blew the roof off the place and let’s face it, Mike Ness isn’t getting any younger.
On the other hand I could win $800 or so and I need the points for the year end tournament where I could win $1,000+ On the third hand, (thanks honey), I haven’t had a decent showing all year in that tournament and probably need to accept that I won’t be in the year end championship.
So is this working? Do I exist again?

Just settled in at the weekend place (hotel) in Telluride with a face down brown. Longest drive but worth it.
