Greetings boppers!
This is a quick reminder that the DFO SoCal Chapter (KSK Originals) will be meeting tomorrow at Karl Strauss Brewery in Costa Mesa. 901 S. Coast Dr. Costa Mesa, CA tomorrow at 1:00.
The official start time is scheduled for 1:00 but Rikki Tikki Deadly and myself will be getting there in the noonish time frame to establish seating, get the TVs tuned to the proper channels and otherwise marking the territory. I probably won’t be peeing on the surrounding chairs for markage but you get my drift.
Let’s use this post as a reminder as well as a place to sort things out for those getting to the proceedings. Drop a comment or two if you get lost, can’t figure out where the fuck we are in the restaurant, need to swear at us out of spite or just need some comforting reassurance.
For starters Rikki plans on wearing his Raiders Amari Cooper jersey and I may or may not be in Vikings colors. It still feels a little “too soon” to be wearing my Adrian Peterson jersey so I may just be rocking my black Beale Street T-shirt with a bunch of guitars on the back.
Show up! Let’s drink! Get a designated driver and we’ll drink some more.
This should be a real hootenanny, a regular hoochie-fatch, a gat damn good time.

I’ve only been to one since I moved down this way and that was well over a decade ago, but I’d gladly go if it meant a DFO meetup. I know we’re known for strip clubs, but there’s also this place down here called Cigar City… Just putting it out there.

By the way, made beef stew this week. I didn’t use your recipe but it was your post that inspired me to make it as I hadn’t mad eit in auite some time. I did use your idea for the balsamic though. I’ve never tried that before, so I went part balsamic, part worcestershire. Came out really damn good.

15 hours, 27 minutes for me………………. wait Vegas, we go though Vegas
16 days, 3 hours, 42 minutes.
35 hours for me at 2,466 miles. I expected it to be longer, but it’s pretty much straight across 10 once I drive up the coast to the state line.
That totes looks like a place that requires pants. AND would frown at my insistence that my “good” slippers qualify as shoes.
Those columns scream strip club to me.

My level of cursing y’all will be exponentially increased by how cold, wet, and miserable I will be tomorrow at the Cards/Seahawks game. I might not even have a classification of pirate and adorable slow/fat creature to describe myself, it’s gon be that cold and wet.
