Speaking of 30-the Falcons are 1-5 when they’ve achieved the under. By the by, a scented candle to all those that were aware that Falc’s lb Vic Beasley led the league in sacks with 15 and a half.
All in all, it looks as though the ‘Hawks need a few turnovers (“Turnovers? I like apple!” -Andy Reid) to keep up with them Atlantans but the Falcons have only turned the ball over more than one time only the one time. I have had a Russia/Eastern Europe fascination my entire life. “The Americans” is my favourite show, and no doubt we are reaping some of what we have sown by not offering more material and fraternal support in the aftermath of the breakup of the USSR.
THAT SAID, better relations have to come from a place of mutual respect. We should be willing to talk to ANYONE, as Obama always was. Also, better relations with Russia as a “horse trade” with direct agitation of China is foolish beyond belief. And that is all that Trump has offered, other than encouraging the worst bomb-throwers in Bibi’s far-right coalition, to the world at large. He’s no peace maker. Not in the slightest.
One nit to pick: Obama was never particularly interested in talking to Russia. He and Putin have a very obvious mutual dislike, but more than that, much of Obama’s push to frack was based on the idea of exporting the gas to Europe and thus forcing Russia out, as they have been supplying gas to Europe for decades. That’s a large part of what the Syrian conflict is about as well.
As much as i like Obama, he definitely could have done more on foreign policy. Specially where Russia and China are concerned. He had eight years to make major changes and didn’t even try.
