Gosh darn it, Scoob.

Better Know A Broadcaster – Bowl Game Edition
With Bowl games on the docket pretty much every night there isn’t NFL action between now & New Year’s, I thought I’d make #content quota by trying to figure out which C-list announcing teams are trying to climb the broadcasting ladder. I will rely on the American commentists to pass judgement on the quality of their work, as most bowl games aren’t shown on Canadian TV, and the Seattle stations only show the majors and games featuring Washington state teams.

Prediction:
Ugh. Chucklefuckery of the highest order. Shroff will try and keep it professional, but Golic – based on the limited times I’ve heard him on the radio – will eventually want to BRO DOWN! on his first bowl broadcast and will drag the kid down with him.
Over/under on Golic’s famous references:

Last day of school for me today. TIME TO PUT THE “BEER” IN BEERGUYROB!
Ho.lee. shit. Ice Liouns’ player, Brendan Gaunce, scored his first goal in 95 games. If you are the bar and see Emily Ratajkowski, go for it because weirder shit has happened today.
Gaunce still has a shooting percentage of 0 and has 2 goals. What a legend.

San Diego State had a big win tonight, but San Diego has had a huge loss. He may have not been my favorite play by play guy at the end of his career, but Dick Enberg has been a part of the Commander household since before I can remember.
It’s another big loss in an already unfathomable year for San Diego sports. I don’t have many that affect me, but this one really hits hard at the worst time. RIP, Dick. I hope you and The Colonel are finally calling a game somewhere special right now.
My childhood involves he and Merlin Olsen calling AFC games on NBC.
“Oh my!” indeed.
