2019 [DFO] Banner Tournament: First Round, Day 11

Another day to do the things and vote the votes and see if there are other crazy double-digit upsets and see what kind of ridiculous dance-related reference I can come up with, the more obscure the better!

Okay, that’s pretty damn obscure. I think this was on… PBS Kids? A quick googling tells me yes, and whoever created this also created Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, which is the leading reason anyone in their 20s might use the term “great googly-moogly.” If at all. I mean, I don’t, but maybe somebody does? Apparently this is more a Hermana Weaselo-era PBS show, judging by the dates, which also makes sense. Not that she watched this, for her it was Dragon Tales, and then I would watch Pokemon or Histeria! which was a criminally underrated show. And for even younger than that Senor, after-school I was a WB! kid, since they had Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Freakazoid! And occasionally Batman: TAS, but young Senor wasn’t as into it. Only certain episodes, because y’know, I was too young. And Bill Nye, and the lesser-known Beakman’s World.

Okay, enough about Senor’s kid shows, we all know the best kid show was Wonder Showzen, which gave us gems like this

which is about the least fucked-up thing I can post from the show.
