So I’m at Fenway for the Patriot’s Day game, no doubt losing feeling in my feet because the seats were designed for people of average size 100 years ago. But the #content monster must be sated, so mock draft it is.
That said, it is currently closing in on midnight EST, (the only time God intended), and I’ve not only had a few, but I need to be up in the wee small hours of the morning because first pitch is at 11, theoretically allowing the Fenway faithful to spill out onto Kenmore square like so much Hibernian filth out of 3rd Class steerage in 1846 and scream (let’s hope) encouraging words at the Kenyan, (Benson Kipruto, a three-time marathon winner, and current reigning and defending Boston champ, is favored), so basically I’m feeding the #content monster and leaving you to your own devices.
This week’s topic is walk-up music. Whether it’s the music you’d have played as you stride to the plate in a baseball game, as you stride to the ring looking for a knock-out, or as you stride into a club trying and hilariously failing to get laid, we want the song you hear in your head.
I’m drinking at fahcking Fenway, so there is no commissioner this week. Have at it, you savages. I am, however, taking Run The Jewels ‘Ante Up’ with the first pick. I’d post the Bert & Ernie version here, but it’s late, I’m buzzed, and I can’t figure it out, so just know that it’s off the board and that, if you try to take it, (just the Bert & Ernie version), I will pelt you mercilessly with images from ‘The Blair Witch Project.’
