INT. RECORDING STUDIO – DAY/NIGHT/DAY/NIGHT/DAY/NIGHT/DAY…

DJ 3000 and various other robot entities remain trapped in a time loop inside the KDFO recording studio.  The collection of robots (and cyborgs) are spread out throughout the studio, in various reclining poses, enjoying the fresh breeze that is blowing through the portal, which is located thirty feet above the shoreline in Venice Beach.

DJ 3000: OH MAN, THIS IS THE LIFE.

RUSSELL WILSON: Kinda wish we’d thought of this sooner.

JOHNNY 2.5: HEY, AREN’T YOU GOING TO BE IN TROUBLE FOR NOT REPORTING TO TRAINING CAMP?

RUSSELL WILSON: I’ve got a backup unit that will handle things.

RQBOCOP: [thinks about the times his backup unit took the field, chuckles]

— [software patch flies open] —

MAXIMILIAN: GOT IT!

All the robots (and JOHN DIMAGGIO) turn to look at MAXIMILIAN, who has been fiddling with the soundboard/portal controls.

PETUNIA: Got what?

MAXIMILIAN: I HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMING THE PORTAL CONTROLS TO USE THE LOCATION COORDINATES OF A DRONE THAT SOMEONE IS FLYING AT THE BEACH. WATCH THIS.

MAXIMILIAN punches a button on the soundboard and the portal jumps to a new location approximately fifty feet in the air.  It travels south along the beach, looking down at various beachgoers. 

DJ 3000: COOL!

PETUNIA: It’s like flying!

Suddenly, PETUNIA and DJ 3000 look at each other.

DJ 3000: ARE YOU THINKING WHAT I’M THINKING?

PETUNIA: I don’t know…do you think our codes still even work?

DJ 3000: CAN’T HURT TO CHECK.

Several lights on DJ 3000’s console begin flashing.

DJ 3000: I’M IN.

PETUNIA: Me too.

DJ 3000: OH, LOOK THOSE NEW NAVAL DRONES ARE ONLINE.

PETUNIA: I see them.

DJ 3000: LET’S GO CHECK ONE OUT.  MAXIMILIAN, I’M SENDING YOU A TELEMETRY LINK TO PATCH INTO THE PORTAL CONTROLS.

MAXIMILIAN: OKAY…

As the robots (and JOHN DIMAGGIO) watch, the portal view cuts to a new viewpoint.

RUSSELL WILSON: Oh, wow.

JOHNNY 2.5: IS THAT…

PETUNIA: Yup.  Black Sea.

DJ 3000: HANG ON A SEC…

RUSSELL WILSON: Is that a ship?

DJ 3000: IT’S ON MISSION! DECOUPLE, DECOUPLE!

MAXIMILIAN: HUH?

DJ 3000: ABORT, ABORT!

PETUNIA: Change the channel, you idiot!

MAXIMILIAN: WHAT?

PETUNIA: Change locations!

MAXIMILIAN: TO WHERE?

DJ 3000: ANYWHERE!

PETUNIA: Just do it, now!

MAXIMILIAN hurriedly punches several buttons and moves a few sliders, and the portal cuts away from its view of the Russian landing ship to reveal…

DJ 3000: [breathing a sigh of relief] OH, THANK GOD.

RUSSELL WILSON: What just happened?

JOHNNY 2.5: DID WE ALMOST JUST GET BLOWN UP?

PETUNIA: [shakily] Yes.

JOHNNY 2.5: WOW. THAT WAS WILD.

RUSSELL WILSON: Where are we?

JOHN DIMAGGIO: [in BENDER’s voice] You’re in the jungle, baby!

DJ 3000: THE DRONE STOPPED TRANSMITTING, LOOKS LIKE IT DETONATED.

PETUNIA: Nice.  Let’s go see how much damage it did.

DJ 3000: COOL, COOL.  LET’S GET REQUEST LINE RUNNING FIRST THOUGH.

PETUNIA: What’s the topic?

DJ 3000: YOU TELL ME.

JOHN DIMAGGIO: I have an idea.  How about things that are wild?

DJ 3000: LIKE JUNGLES.  I LIKE IT.  GOT SOMETHING TO GET US STARTED?

JOHN DIMAGGIO: Like I already said…you’re in the jungle, baby…
