Welcome one and all! I type this as I’m drinking my marshmallow hot chocolate/ dark roast coffee half and half. T’is a most special day as we wind up what has been a very interesting season.

Snack Report: Mini cukes, Pringles, Miss Vickie chips, Doritos, chicken wings, dry roasted peanuts, butter tarts, pretzels and Cheetos. (this is not an exhaustive list, btw) Will I cook chili? It’s too early to tell!

Soccer Tilts: West Ham/Arsehole and Aston Villa/Man U, No U! are featured in the Prem and it looks like Napoli are playing as well.

Men’s College Ball: Ranked Florida Atlantic take on Wichita State in the Peter King Invitational. Hey, 17-3 Princeton has squeaked into the Top 25 despite the fact they’re third in Ivy League standings.

Women’s College Ball: Iowa/Nebraska, usually as exciting as watching the corn grow, is worth a look as Caitlin Clark chases the scoring record. She’s 39 points away which is only 7 points over her scoring average this year. Stealing her thunder in the last game was forward Hannah Stuelke who put up 47 (no 3 pointers) in 32 minutes. The game of the day should be #11 The Fightin’ Whore Ratio’s vs #1 South Carolina at 2pm EST though. Let’s hear it for tiny Creighton which has both the men’s and women’s teams ranked in the Top 25.

Ovie Passes Gretzky!: [whispers out of side of mouth] In most number of empty net goals with 50-something. He’s already the leader in power plays goals (304) and OT netters (25).
