Guten Tag drones.
Finally had a weekend without work or social obligations, so I was outside getting dirty trying to get the yard clean. I would say that, so far, things are a draw, at best.
We still need a mock draft, however, so I dipped into my notes and saw that I had made one to rip off Rikki’s idea from last year, discography from bands in the 1980s, and run it back as “discography from bands in the 1990s” which is a totally different thing that I came up with all by myself and not something I’m hammering out as quickly as these fingers can type, (fixes 8 typos in last two sentences), so I can get to drinking.
The thing about day-drinking is that if you, like me, prefer your beers 6.5%+ ABV, there’s really no such thing. Once you have two you are committed to doing nothing else all day but drink more, and since some of my yard work today involved a chainsaw I had to put that off and right now I am pretty fucking thirsty.
So, as I was saying, I was totally ready to run with my totally original and not at all ripped off from RTD idea for 1990 Band Discographys but then I was thinking about it while in the shower, (that visual image is a little treat for all of you, for keeping me from this delicious beer I have sitting in front of me), and I came to the realization that a lot of 1990’s music “sucked” as the kids say, and I didn’t want to do it.
So I switched it to the 1970s.
And now it’s 12:36 am and I’m finding that I lost half the post when the site crashed, so just
and also I took Led Zeppelin with the first pick and had some witty jokes here about their 4 great albums in the 70’s and the one from ’82 that doesn’t count and also how John Bonham tried to kick heroin by doing things like drinking 4 quadruple Bloody Marys at breakfast, which is not a great idea but in fall fairness he never did do heroin again.
Also the featured image wouldn’t work and I’m certainly not trying that again. But it was the cover of one of the albums.
