Jarrett Stidham is the starting QB for the Denver Broncos this week as Nix has a broken ankle and is out for the year. Rumours are flying around about veteran QBs signing a one-month contract. As funny an idea as that could be, you know it will never happen because one of the names mentioned is Colin Kaepernick.

There is a deadline of Friday for the Commissioners of the BiG 10 and SEC to agree on a plan to expand the college football playoff. The SEC wants a 16 team field. The BiG 10 is willing to go there but only if it expands to 24 in three years. If they cannot agree on a plan, it will remain at 12.

The Buffalo Bills have been added to the list of teams looking for a new coach after they fired McDermott almost immediately after the loss to Denver. I’ve no idea who could possibly deliver the Super Bowl they want. I don’t think that coach exists outside of Indiana.

The Hoosiers wrapped up an undefeated season with a win over Miami IN MIAMI last night. As I saw the final Miami offensive play unfold, I’m not sure what Carson Beck was thinking. Actually, I think I do. He was banking on the refs calling pass interference. The only thing, though, is that you have to throw it relatively close to the receiver to get the call…
