Subsequent GTD reflections

Hello there fellow DFO’er.  Hope you’re well today.  And thanks for coming back to see last weeks tl;dr of last week as decided by my brain.  There’s no reason as to why some comments make it and others don’t. Seriously. There isn’t.

Was away all weekend at a tournament.  We went 2 and 2.  So not too bad.  No points as that’s not really my role, but ate lotsa shawarma.  I’m back to work to rest and recover.  And yes, I will be going to bed stupid early again tonight.

Shoutout to my wife-there’s an extremely difficult individual at a hospital that despises authority and refuses to go into a retirement home out of sheer spite. His issues have issues. Were I in the same situation as she is I would try to get things resolved in one conversation. Wifey knows that this is a multiple conversation situation and is trying her best just to make him comfortable the first time out. Extraordinary patience on her part-making things light at times, saying, “we’re in this together”, giving him room to rant, asking him about his career that he was so proud of, he’s opening up and he doesn’t realize it.

An hour long interview with a woman who had the expression of a manequin. After some of the old Fozz banter, she loosened up. Wrapping up, “Well we’re talking to other people, they’ll probably be a third round of interviews.”

So giving an update here,

Most of northwest Indiana got ravaged by storms this week.

I got lucky in that i was one of the few areas to not lose power.

It sucks though seeing what my neighbors and Co workers are going through.

Biggest annoyance is honestly the fact that the cell tower by my house got damaged, so I have spotty service and no home internet.

So this is what living in the 1700s felt like
