• The burglary at LeSean McCoy’s ex’s has taken a dark turn:
  • She’s in the hospital after being pistol-whipped.
  • The burglar asked for items specific to her relationship with McCoy.
    • Further to that, her lawyer issued a statement:
      • “In fact, after Ms. Cordon refused to return her jewelry gifts to Mr. McCoy, he would often suggest to Ms. Cordon that she could be robbed because the jewelry was expensive.”
  • Richie Incognito has his ex-teammate’s back.
    • “I know the full story and he didn’t do it.”
      • Yep – and Rae Carruth wasn’t driving the car.

• The charges against Brandon Browner were revealed Tuesday.
  • Attempted murder, robbery, burglary, false imprisonment, and two counts of child endangerment.

• Cardinals GM Steve Keim name-dropped a dead cop during his field sobriety test.
  • So now his misdemeanour DUI could also be adding a misrepresentation charge.
  • Cardinals team president Michael Bidwill is “extremely disappointed”, saying “there will be consequences”.

• One wonders what the consequences will be for this statement by Bidwill, during an interview about Trump’s new Supreme Court pick,  about players’ rights to protest:
  • “Not at all,” Bidwill said. “I think it’s important to speak up. People are saying stick to sports? You know what? We ask our players 20 days a year — game days — to restrict their statements. The rest of the days, we want our players to get engaged in the community. Just like I am and other owners are.

• An employee at Atlanta’s airport threw punches at Pacman Jones.
  • Following a gesture by the airport worker, Pacman confronted him & the guy initiated the fight.
    • “Mr. Ragin eventually struck Mr. Jones with a closed fist, causing a laceration to Mr. Jones’ face”.
  • Frank Ragin was arrested on two counts of battery – one for hitting Pacman, the other due to an injury Pacman’s companion suffered defending herself.
