Elite vs Delete…Ravens at the Bye

Hey, remember three weeks ago when the Ravens were 4-2 and leading the division?

Yeah, they don’t remember either.  No one does.

There’s a reason for that.

Not only have the Ravens gone on a 3 game losing streak since then, but they also have the worst record in division games in the AFC North.

Yes, even worse than Cleveland.  In fact, MUCH worse than Cleveland.

This is not a good team.

Statistically speaking, the defense is allegedly the best in the league.

Bullshit.  I’ve watched them, I see the mental mistakes they make.  They’re a bunch of overpaid nimrods who have no discipline.  And the league has now figured them out.

Offensively, Joe Flacco had gotten lucky for a few weeks there.  That’s over now too.

John Harbaugh will probably be fired by season’s end.  And rightfully so.

I repeat….

This is not a good team.  So, what’s gonna happen?

Who cares?

But gun to my head….

They’ve got a shot to beat the Raiders (sorry RTD) and the Bucs at home.  They will lose (probably horribly) to everyone else down the stretch.

Once they lose to the Bengals, Falcons and Chiefs, (and maybe the Raiders too….RTD can hold out hope) Flacco will lose his starting job.  Again, rightfully so.

Lamar Jackson will then be under center.  That’s not going to be any better, at least for now.

And when they drop the last home game against Cleveland, John Harbaugh will get a pink slip as a belated Christmas gift.

But hey, at least they aren’t as bad as the Orioles.

But they’re trying.
