They said its because a car needs to be going to certain speed to not slide down the incline on Turn 1 and 2, but come on…its the Presidential Limo. Hillary was a moderate. John Kerry was a moderate, as was Al Gore. Obama was a moderate in a radical’s clothing, which is why people went to the mattresses for him (including yours truly) and which is why he won. A lot of people see Bernie Sanders as too radical, but he’s the only Democrat in the field that generates the same kind of enthusiasm that Obama did.

But Obama was inclusive, and got support from all corners of the coalition. Sanders is “factional only” and I don’t like the air of superiority re him being the only answer.

I hear not all – but too many, and they are very vocal – of his supporters basically saying they don’t want a coalition. Uh…good luck with that.

Until Hillary, the nominees have gone farther left each iteration. Just at a manageable pace. Which I think is consistent with how the Party members have moved left.

I am saying that “Bernie gets nomination despite being against the clear wishes of 70% of the voters (and being none of the other candidates’ 2nd choice) OR “Bernie has the most delegates, but waaayyyyy short of 50% and doesn’t get the nomination” will fracture the Party. I don’t see how it would play out any other way.

CLARIFIER – either Bernie has to break out of “25-30%” land (which would prove his campaign can broaden), or someone else needs to consolidate the not-Bernie vote and get more delegates than him. Otherwise…deep shit. I will still vote for the nominee so long as Tulsi isn’t on the ticket.

Voters haven’t been asked to get off their asses and do something besides vote and maybe write a check in generations. Change requires work, and no one has demanded Americans do work since Jimmy Carter gave his malaise speech. And while it might have worked if he didn’t have shit instincts and Reagan/Bush didn’t commit treason working with the Iranians to extend the hostage crisis, but instead for forty years we’ve been told that if we just elect the adults in the room with all the answers everything will be fine.

It’s not fucking fine and it hasn’t been since before I was born. And only one candidate is acknowledging this fact. But for obvious reasons, people have a hard time being told they actually have to do shit to get a representative government that will keep them and the world from dying so that wealthy people can not be even slightly inconvenienced.

I passed on that when I got my current car because I came to conclusion that if I crashed into something, since there will be no engine and stuff in front, than I would be the thing absorbing the impact of the crash.

I bought my second Ford Escape 2 years ago. The first one had over 100,000 miles on it, and other than routine stuff like tires and a battery, I never had a problem with it. This one is good too so far, fingers crossed! It’s not a sexy car, but it’s reliable, and that works for me.

The flashiest car I’ve ever had was a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT. From a distance it looked like a sports car, until you get close and read the model name. I’ve received sympathy notes from would-be car thieves with that car.

House district 58 is mostly north and west Birmingham. I lived in house district 54, which is east Birmingham. My friend Neil Rafferty is the representative for that district, he’s a great guy! I would not be surprised to see him eventually move on to bigger and better things. I moved from the Ham 2 years ago, and I miss it. Alabama is a shithole, but there are a few bright spots, and Birmingham is one. Some of the nicest, most progressive people I have ever met, and I’ve been damn near everywhere. And the food there is world class. I need to go back to visit soon!

Decilitre is 2 1/2.

Spag Casserole 1 onion, 1 red pepper, 2 cloves of garlic. 1 lb of ground beef, 1 package of linguine, red pepper flakes, thyme, oregano, basil, s &p.

Saute veggies 5 mins while cooking pasta to full time. Throw ground beef/turkey/pork in. Brown. 2 cans of San MArzano tomatoes (small cans) accept no substitutes. Cook 10 mins. Chuck in noodles.

In a Greased pand throw everything together and cover in shredded Mozza and Grana Podana (accept no sub) Then Bake for 20 mins. Cover in chopped parsley.
