So happy the Ice Rams won – if they had lost, they would’ve been down 3-0, and no one comes back against the IceSabrecats from 3-0 in the playoffs. Especially the Kings.

So, I have been in meetings all day, but I see that my compatriots at the Flyers game have disgraced themselves once again. I generally think the “horrible Philly fan” narrative is overblown and a crutch for lazy sportswriters. That said, there is a portion of this fan base that absolutely revels in the reputation and gets off on living up to it. That wasn’t always a thing…I think the proliferation of sports media has amped it up in the last 15 years or so.
So, in closing, thanks a lot, dickbags. You make it harder all the time for people to think I’m not a mouth-breathing alcoholic Trump voter.

quick summary: Livingston did well in place of curry. The rockets had to many turnovers, got frustrated, and dwight howard fouled out. 5 Warriors players got in double figures and they hit key shots late in the game and walked away with the win.
now the series shifts to Houston.
It’s astonishing to me that teams continue to think Dwight Howard is good and try to acquire him.

Watching the warriors play kind of reminds me of Mike Tyson fighting, very early in his career. Before he became a head hunter, rapist, and all that other shit. Back when Gus lead him in and out of the ring.
In his early fights, his opponents would be able to hang for like a round or two. But then his combos (and Tyson in his early days was technically pretty sound) would start hitting hard and before you noticed, the fight was over.

Early Tyson was a boxing coaches wet dream. I remember watching him way before he won the title on Wide World of Sports. He was fighting some schlub and hit dude with a four punch combo of body shots that still makes my toes curl just thinking about. I wouldn’t be surprised if dude is still pissing blood.

Idea number 8511 to increase scoring in hockey: if you score a goal with your goalie pulled, it counts trilple. A “three point shot,” if you will.
Pro beach hockey dimensions would be cool.
Not sure how you would ramp up the ice like that, but ramped ice around the boards would make it a lot harder to send guys head first into them.
