So, today I had to go for summer “training” at the baseball stadium, because even though I’ve been there since 1991, I guess I need a refresher on how beer goes into a cup & then onto my tray. Complex fucking physics, that.

Luckily, prices stayed the same, so the tips should be about right. It’s about $100/game, and the salary the law says I have to be paid goes into mum’s bingo account. I’m just hoping the knees hold up.

I look forward to seeing the regulars, especially the long-suffering Cubs fan who has worn his Leon Durham jersey to games since the late-90s, when “The Bull” was actually coaching up here with the Angels organization in the Triple-A days. He was a nice guy; never said no to a free beverage, and would help you skip the line to get into the club.

It’ll help a summer without teaching pass the time.
