Yes, I have convinced my dumbass self this is an actual possibility. In the range of 30%. SIGH.
Michigan at Michigan State (Noon, Fox)
We will always have that punt oopsie-doodle game. Remember? You’ll see that replay maybe 20 times during the broadcast. Sparty was good last week, so don’t expect a repeat.
Oklahoma at TCU (Noon, ABC)
Bloodeyes have had a rather bad season, but taking down Boomer Sooner would make everything all better. The Big Twaaaalllllve is effectively out of the playoff conversation, so they might as well entertain us with anarchy.
Illinois at Wisconsin (Noon, FS1)
Noted because I bet on the Fightin’ Snowflakes. $40 ATS (+24.5), $10 ML (+1450).
NC State at Clemson (3:30, ESPN)
DABO! must be stopped. For Notre Dame and tOSU are making the playoffs, without question. Wouldn’t it be nice for someone other than Roll Damn Tide to be the good guy? This is Ryan Finley’s moment, and he’s very ready for it. Question is whether NC State’s defense can put him in position to win the game late. I think they can – the wolves do physical, and Cuse showed how much the Tiggs don’t like being punched in the mouth. Definitely the game of the day, and the rest of the window is vile shite.
Mississippi State at LSU (7:00, ESPN)
I have a sneaking suspicion the Bayou Bengals could be a bit letdown emotionally. But it’s under the lights in their Death Valley, and I am wary to bet on this version of Cowbells. But interested to see how it plays out.
Oregon at Washington State (7:30, Fox)
I really don’t think either of these sides are very good, but Wazzu has the GameDay hype adrenaline going for them, and Quack Attack is coming off a big win, and I love fading teams like that (especially ones that ain’t so hot).
Vanderbilt at Kentucky (7:30, SECN)
For some reason, I am drawn to this matchup. Perhaps an early Bananacakes warning system is at hand?
Arizona at UCLA (10:30, ESPN2)
It’s a sad excuse for a tweaker matchup, but this slate is super light. At least there’s the White Supremacy Bowl hook!
