NFL Nuggets:

  • In other QB news:
    • THE BEN is done for the year, and in response the Steelers are bringing in (*checks notes*) Paxton Lynch as a backup to now-starting QB Wilma Mason Rudolph.
    • Drew Brees is out 4-6 weeks with his torn thumb ligament.
    • Cam newton is questionable after re-injuring his foot against the Bucs.
  • The Steelers acquired Minkah Fitzpatrick from the LOLphins in exchange for the Steelers first-round pick in 2020.
    • Late-round picks were also exchanged, but no one cares about those.
    • What matters is how deep the tank goes in Miami. At present, they now have three first-round picks and two second-rounders in 2020, and two first-rounders and two second-rounders in 2021.

Speaking of stupid, I walked home in the spitting rain and decided to detour for a snack when I was nearly home. Instead of dropping my stuff off and going to the store with a jacket on this time, I just went to the store, didn’t end up getting anything, and then walked home 0.4 miles in the pouring rain that appeared while I was inside.
