Since in Canada we call US Thanksgiving “Thursday”, I don’t really have much to add to the whole foofaraw. I was thankful back in October; now I’m just bitterly anticipating having to go Christmas shopping.
But the nuzzle at my elbow reminded me that we’ve had Riga five years today. We got her at 10 weeks, when her first family returned her to the breeder because she required more time than they could deal with.
WHAT THE FU–?!!??!1!!? First off – who returns a puppy? And second, who makes that type of expensive mistake?
But I digress. Anyway, what better way to start off a Saturday evening than with some puppy photos!

Better looking than any baby my deformed genes could’ve been part of. She’s a mighty good girl, and I like her a hell of a lot more than most people. Hell, she’s kept me from being the Angelo Buono to Scotchy’s Kenneth Bianchi. There’s a few people not missing because my dogs keep me centred, so for that alone she’s earned her praise.
