First off, the “Cobb-led” joke is brought to you by Balls. I’m not nearly smrt enough to think of that joke. Your 2021 Packers will be team of many questions and hopefully a few answers. Mainly it will be how long does Rodgers want to play and want to play for GB. I’m guessing that next year will be the start of the Love experiment. I’m not sure the exact year I started cheering for the Packers, but recall liking Sterling Sharp and Farve. And the games were always on the TV then as my parents were tooooo cheap to have cable. So have been fortUnate enough to have someone competent under centre for the most part for my fandom. Not expecting much from Love.
Going to get this out of the way. Got a bunch of knock off jersey’s ages ago. This came in the first group. Asked for a replacement and got the same thing.

And yes, I wear this when drafting for fantasy football.
Things I hate about the Packers:
– The stupid cheese head hats.
-The “owner” shares.
– being “title town”
– comparisons of anyone to Farve
– Keeping McCarthy for so long
I’m sure there’s others, so add your own to the list.
Last season the Packers finished 13-3 and lost to the Bucs 31-26 in the Conference Championship game. I have zero recollection of this game but looking at the game sheet, it feels like they should have gone for it on 4th down as the kickoff allowed for a return of 9 yards. Oh and Rodgers was the league MVP.
Looking to this year, Rodgers is back for now and so is Davante Adams for the last dance or whatever. Fully expect both to leave in the offseason.
For once the Packers seem to have actual, useful running backs. Not that they’ll be used for much more than pass protection, but nice to have a few guys that can run the ball when needed. Aaron Jones leads this group, with help from AJ Dillion and some other guy.
As the Packers and Rodgers throw the ball about 97,000 times a game, they brought back Randall Cobb to appease Rodgers. They have still have MVS and Larzard around. Devin Funchess was lost to IR. Didn’t even know he got picked up.
Robert Tonyan leads the TE group, with some help from Marcedes Lewis. Not sure how he’s still playing at 37, but here we are.
The offensive line has lost David Bakhtiari for at least a few games but it’s still a solid group even without Bryan Bulaga who left in free-agency.
For 2020 DVOA had them rated first.

With a defence that was rated 17th overall by DVOA, there’s some work to be done here. Looking through the names on the roster, none jump out at me. Not the bestest fan, but not sure not knowing a single defensive name is a good sign. Totally expected to see an old name in the list but nothing.
Apparently Rashan Gary and Za’Darius Smith are the two to watch.
Mason Crosby is still around kicking with something called JK Scott doing punts. Sounds like a stage name picked by AI. DVOA ranks the special teams unit at 25th over all.

With a middle of the road predicted schedule (14th) for difficulty it should be easier to repeat at the NFC winner. Lots of the stuff I’ve read thinks they can challenge for the number 1 seed in the NFC, but not expecting that. I’m expecting them to get blown out in the Divisional round, like most years with Rodgers. They also have 5 prime time games so will be in our faces too much. As for season prediction, I’m thinking 12 and 5 ( so weird with the extra game now).
