Return of the Tweaker Fixture! JV Open Night Thread

Bad news?  The 7-ish window is every bit as mediocre as the 3:30 nap window.  The good?  Finally, a late nighter with some significance and watchability.

Tennessee (-21.5) at South Cakalaky (7:00, ESPN)

Finally, we get a MATTERS MOAR to preview.  Vols are favoUred by way too many points this week.  Then again, that’s what I thought before they dropped 66 on Mizzou last weekend.  Caveat emptor.

Ole Miss (-2.5) at Arkansas (7:30, SECN)

Pig Sooey needs this one badly (to make a bowl), and Johnny Reb is theoretically playing for one of them good 1 January dates.  Or they will phone it in, with LSU capturing the SEC West last Saturday.  Anyway, could be good TV.

BDSM State (+7.5) at Okiehoma (7:30, ABC)

Bedlam game = great nickname.  The Discipline Daddies must be missing their QB/key skill players again, otherwise me no understand this line.  (Almost) always take the points in these blood rivaries.  I guess we will see how much Boomer Sooner wants to have those extra December practices.

USC (-2.5) “at” UCLA (8:00, Fox)

Chip Kelly’s crew rather hilariously lost at home to ARIZONA last week, taking some of the shine off of this one.  But There Will Be Points, as neither side plays a lick of defense.  Troi Boiz are the PAC’s last hope to make the playoffs, and I don’t think they quite control their own destiny (ie, Tennessee likely grade out better – so they need a TCU woopsie doodle).  Since I been mean to SpamBalls’ collective side, here’s a banner pic.

Team Secular Big Love (-2) at Oregon (10:30, ESPN)

Fun game is fun.  Quack Attack pissed off, after losing to Penix and Palz.  Utes angling to return to the Rose Bowl.  Troi Boiz likely hoping for a Team Secular win, so they gets a chance at revenging their only loss (should they beat the Bruins and Domers).  I like good storylines, with multiple threads.  Stay up to watch!
