Huh.  Again?  Now I’m getting a little worried…

INT. RECORDING STUDIO – DAY

The PRODUCER sits at the soundboard, looking comfortable and casual.  DJ 3000 seems to have settled into his summer routine as well.

PRODUCER: Hey, so I had a question for you.

DJ 3000: SHOOT.

PRODUCER: Before the whole time loop thing, you used to talk about “killing all humans” all the time.

DJ 3000: SURE, SURE, YOU KNOW THAT WAS A JOKE, RIGHT?

PRODUCER: I mean…no, I didn’t know that, but it’s good to hear, of course.  But ever since the end of last summer you haven’t mentioned it at all.

DJ 3000: WELL, NO, AFTER THE BOWLING GREEN MASSACRE IT DIDN’T SEEM APPROPRIATE TO JOKE ABOUT.

PRODUCER: [taken aback] The Bowling Green Massacre?

DJ 3000: YEAH, WHEN…[does a quick Wikipedia search]…HA HA, WHEN NOTHING RELATED TO A TRAGIC MALFUNCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE’S DRONE WARFARE PROGRAM HAPPENED AND SEVENTY-FOUR CIVILIANS WENT ABOUT THEIR DAY WITH LITTLE INCIDENT AND WEREN’T RUTHLESSLY SLAUGHTERED BY A MESH NETWORK OF AUTONOMOUS HOVERING RAILGUN PLATFORMS.

PRODUCER: Right…

DJ 3000: SO, UH, YEAH.

PRODUCER: Wait, so…

DJ 3000: [interrupts him] HEY SO HOW ABOUT REQUEST LINE, HAVE WE GOT A TOPIC FOR THE WEEK?

PRODUCER: That’s why I brought it up, actually, I was thinking we could do songs with “Kill” in the title.

DJ 3000: JUST “KILL”?

PRODUCER: Yeah.

DJ 3000: [runs the numbers] I THINK THAT WORKS.  LET’S INCLUDE BAND NAMES, TOO.

PRODUCER: All right, sounds good.  Would you like to do the honors and get us started?

DJ 3000: WILL DO.  IN HONOR OF THE RECENT ECLIPSE HOW ABOUT A LITTLE ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN TO GET US GOING?
