The Geelong Qualifying Final blowout victory over Port Adelaide IN ADELAIDE was the biggest surprise of the week for me. It was a very pleasant surprise because that’s my team, but I really did not think they would win, let alone blow Port out.

The Giants-Sydney game was a classic. I think GWS had a chance late to tie it up, but a mental lapse prevented them from getting a mark and seeing up a tying shot in the last minute. The GWS-Brisbane game next week will be incredible to watch!

The Hawks have continued their roll and took care of Western relatively easily. They now get a Port team that just got embarrassed at home. Should be an interesting matchup. Carlton’s season is over and they, along with Western, get to start making plans for next year and setting up tee times.

The AFLW got its first tie of the season with the North Melbourne-Geelong game. The other results show that it’s a very even competition this year. Only three teams are unbeaten and only three teams are winless in Week 2!

If you are a member of an AFL club or you got a Watch AFL membership, you should be able to watch every AFLW game, including replays. Game times are similar to AFL game times though they seem to have more day games, which actually makes it easier for us in North America to watch
