Falcons/Vikings:

-I don’t know exactly what “rushing success rate” entails but Atlanta was 2nd in the league last year at 47.5% behind Bijan’s work but last week they were 2nd-worst at 28.6%.

-Given the state of Minny’s interior defense (mostly injuries) they are susceptible to a running attack at the moment.

-McCarthy’s play last week seemed like typical behavior in that he struggled with speed/processing for quite a while but then showed a few of the skills that made him a first round pick in 2024. He’ll be a bit of a mixed bag through the season.

-Did you want clarity with respect to the Aaron Jones/Jordan Mason backfield situation/split? No. Not yours. Turns out they alternated pretty much every series. Mason is the more explosive of the two and if that manifests itself in big plays he’ll pull ahead.
