It’s been your usual football day-buncha close games, buncha blowouts, buncha injuries, buncha surprises. The Steelers and Browns bored the hell out of us, Jax waxed the Titans, the Raiders kept it close, the Texans keep on winning and the Lions are not to be trifled with. The 8-2 Detroit Lions. Say that out loud a few times.

To The Game!

Vikes/Broncos:

-This one will be short because I’m so angry at a certain IT group I can hardly think straight.

-It’s a five game win streak vs a three game win streak. I didn’t think either team had it in them.

-Though they aren’t a good running team-their season-high is 143 yardos against Atlanta-that should change with the Pocket Scientist under center. Dobbs is not afraid to use his wheels to escape trouble. That’s something that Cousins couldn’t/wouldn’t do. So I’m saying they go for 175+ because Denver has the very worst run stop win rate in the league.

-Denver has obviously been playing better recently (Payton did need some time to right the ship) they still surrender the 7th-most fantasy points to qb’s.

-All in all, Minny is looking pretty good, what with JJ returning very soon.

Sometimes simple admiration of cheerleaders is the only guide a fella needs. Last year I started following Maestro’s CFL posts knowing little about the subject. All the paint was blasted off the right side of the car; fortunately it’s a company rental and we paid the eight bucks extra coverage so I’m just going to drop it off and say “Yeah look at that, you deal with it” and then I’m going to laugh, slowly at first but then faster and louder, working up to a maniacal cackle, and then I’m going to dance away across the parking lot while continuing to laugh, and laugh, and then laugh some more.
