So much for Western being good. They just lost to Adelaide, who is definitely not making finals. I tell you, this competition is as even as it’s ever been. Anyone can win it.

The biggest surprise this week was GWS going into Brisbane and handling the Lions. That was really impressive. They are up to third and are likely locked into a finals spot with a really good chance at the Double Chance.

Collingwood had Sydney. It took an incredible comeback to get the four points. I didn’t know where the Pies go from here. They are one game out of the Eight and they got a pissed off Brisbane Lions team next. The Premiership defence may be over.

The following teams have been officially eliminated from finals: Richmond, North Melbourne, West Coast, Adelaide, and St. Kilda. The following are mathematically alive but for all intents and purposes are thinking about next year already: Melbourne and Gold Coast.

Everyone at the top of the Tipping Pool got the same score, so things remain the same with one game less to play. There is still plenty of time left, though, as the margins are super tight!
