The following teams are locked into The Eight: Sydney, Port Adelaide, GWS, and Geelong. Brisbane is for all intents and purposes IN the Eight as they are four points and 7.9 percentage points ahead of Fremantle.

The following teams have been eliminated: Richmond, North Melbourne, West Coast, Adelaide, Gold Coast, St. Kilda, Melbourne, and Essendon. Collingwood is for all intents and purposes OUT of the Eight as they are four points and 10.6 percentage points behind Carlton.

Fremantle is the only team out of the Eight that could still get in. Western, Hawthorn, and Carlton are the three teams in the Eight that could still drop out if they lose next week.

The following games will decide who gets to play finals: Western v GWS, Fremantle v Port Adelaide, Carlton v St. Kilda, and Hawthorn v North Melbourne. I think Hawthorn will stay in the Eight but everything else is up in the air.

BC Dick is making a late run and has taken over third place, only three behind Spam! Litre is only one back. A lot can happen in the last week and we continue the contest through the Grand Final!
