Sickos Committee has to be all over this, with Bucky Badger trying to extend its wrong-direction-clean-sheet streak to three.  How long has THAT been since someone did that, at the D-1A level?  I sure as fuck don’t remember.

Bonfire Cult (-2.5) at LSU (7:30, ABC)

Everything is breaking JUST RIGHT for the Aggies so far, while everything breaking JUST BRIAN KELLY (in windy conditions) for LSU.  If past is predicate, we’ll see a reversal of fortunes tonight.  But I really hope not.

Michigan (-14.5) at Michigan State (3:30, NBC)

Everyone gets to have a laugh and remember the bananacakes last play punt fiasco from 10 years ago.  Do not expect a repeat, this year’s Spartans are ASS.

JV 500s (+6.5) at Arizona State (8:00, ESPN2)

Good cheerleader watch, at least.  And the JV 500’s head coach rocked a mohawk as a D-2 linebacker, which is pretty awesome.

Colorado (+12.5) at Team Secular Big Love (10:15, ESPN)

Only for the TRUE Tweaker enthusiasts, as the only fixture in the window.  Utes have been meh, but Deion-without-his-spawn should be easy pickings.

Avoiding US news is one of the great things about traveling! The shutdown is still on, but airports still ticking along, albiet with some delays at some airports and some times of day. You should be fine getting back, international flights tend to get priority. Or just extend the vacation!

That’s a hell of a conclusion to jump to. Much more probable that the woman didn’t know she was pregnant (happens more than you think) or had to keep it secret for some reason. No prenatal care and no medical attendence at the birth means super high risk for both mother and child, entirely possible the infant died during the birth and the woman was weak and either alone or with someone who was afraid to get into trouble. Still a horrible and tragic situation for everyone involved, but no reason to assume violence. We really need better healthcare and attitudes towards pregnancy in this country, that’s the best way to prevent this sort of situation.

Extremely sorry this happened, and that you were the one who had to handle it WCS. For all the bad things that happen in the world, there are plenty of good ones too, and we can definitely help by distracting you with some of those
