Wumbo Wednesday With Weaselo: Snow Thoughts!

Yeah, apparently we’re in our “thoughts” unit of Wumbo Wednesday, also known as “It’s 3:45, I have to leave for my gig at 5, the Korean fried chicken place down the block that I tried out actually only does whole birds so I have about 2/3 of a chicken left in my fridge (a little bit of honey garlic/soy sauce, most of the sweet & spicy, they did not have a spicy & spicy even though the Google Maps pic said they had mala sauce but the pamphlet said otherwise), so I should probably write.” Such as:

Apparently the limit in terms of my tea drunkenness is about a liter and a half of Scottish Breakfast. I have a tendency to put in way too much tea. Which, since it’s just for me, I am fine with. I was on the second steep of it, saw how it was somehow even darker than the first steep, and definitely realized I had overdone it. I regret very little, namely that I didn’t finish the second pot because I just couldn’t drink it anymore. Could God make tea too strong for Senor Weaselo? Well apparently I can.

…Good thing I’m indoors, that sudden lightning storm just appeared out of nowhere!

Anyway, speaking of snow thoughts: I think that adults don’t necessarily hate the snow. We hate that we still have responsibilities to fulfill in the snow. Playing in the snow would kick ass! As a lefty, when I finished cleaning out my car I went full imagining Gomer Phillips’s delivery with a pretty perfectly able to pack snowball. (He’s a sidewinder, nasty slider.) So, like, take me for example. Hanging around inside (and working remote) to watch the snow? Totally fine, make some cocoa. Have to go to jury duty Tuesday and then a gig after that in the snow? Absolutely awful. Traffic wasn’t bad, but parking was a bit rough. Because again, who needs clearing all the snow for spots you’re not currently in?

So that’ll suck for the next week or three. Okay, I gotta get dressed. What’s on tonight?
