• I’m just going to use the whole sentence: “Multiple Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys football players, including Pro Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliott, have recently tested positive for COVID-19.”
  • According to Florio, it’s at least four – two Texans & two Cowboys.
    • None of the players appear to have brought the disease into the team facility.
    • No report that the Texans picked it up at the George Floyd funeral, although it’s still within the 14-day incubation period.
      • But it’s being speculated.\, which will be enough for the goons among the fan base.
  • Zeke is, of course, thrilled that more of his personal life has leaked to the media.

  • The league is expected to release it’s training camp protocols this week or next.

• The NFLPA’s math is that league revenues would drop by $3.0 billion is stadiums remained empty the whole season.
  • This is lower than the Forbes estimate of $5.5 billion in lost “stadium revenue”.
    • Which they calculated to include the sum of tickets, concessions, sponsors, parking and team stores.
  • There is yet no word on what would happen to future salary caps.
• One revenue generating stream is beginning to get tapped.
  • The Broncos and FanDuel Group announced a multi-year partnership on Monday, making FanDuel an official sports betting partner and an official daily fantasy partner of the Broncos.
    • The deal is the first official sports betting partnership for an NFL team.
