Any other questions/concerns? I may make a tutorial video on how to do a post if I have time and anyone wants it, but I’m liking this very basic version of the joint.
The mobile site is still a little clunky and is not displaying the main post image when you scroll but that’s a small thing.

Awesome! I used a plugin for the mobile site, but I’ll take a look. It should be responsive out of the box, so maybe I can turn it off.
I murderized the mobile plugin. I like the responsive version better, anyway.

I mentioned earlier this week about doing a post from some of the landmark L.A. restaurants. I was thinking about Father’s Office first.
Since we have a decent sized Southern California contingency maybe some of us could do a group outing and then do a group post. I am just beginning to get used to Google docs (old time Office 2xxx guy).
Could we have a group document where everyone who was in attendance could contribute and make there own entries and we could post a single entry as a group?
Because that would be bad ass.
If so, I’ve got a few ideas for places and if the East Coast, Portland, Chicago delegations wanted to do the same we could have a thing going.

I love this idea, for no other reason than the purely personal and I hate to think that my contract is up in a year and I would have missed out on some amazing things to have tried while in So Cal. But equally, I would love to get a sense of places to try when I travel.

It is indeed a little noticed life milestone, when one stops mowing one’s own goddamn lawn. Growing up, the mere thought of such would have horrified me, but fuck, it’s just not worth it (I’m an inch or so two tall to do so comfortably with a middle-aged man’s back) and I am a lazy, lazy hippo.

You have to type in:

That would embed Cuntler’s original gif – just replace the http stuff with the link you want. Another way is to edit the comment, then use the img button to insert an image. Doing it via code is a lot easier, though.
