To The Game!
Fins/Chargers:
-Hey, you’ll be hearing a lot about Tua and Herbert being picked back to back in the 2020 draft.
-They’re also the 3rd and 4th-ranked signal-callers according to ESPN’s QBR rating system. Does anyone take that seriously? I genuinely don’t know.
-Them Chargers desperately need a win but their 28th ranked rush D consistently lets them down. What say they ask Gettleman to make a special appearance at the draft and pick a few Hog Mollies for the interior of the d-line? (He’ll end up picking up a talented headcase at the cb spot because that’s what he does-not come through on his promises)
-When Tyreek was signed the scuttlebutt was that the O couldn’t support two receivers and that Waddle would suffer. That hasn’t been the case and he needs just 28 yards to cross the 1,000 yard threshold again this year.
-With a loss tonight the Chargers chances of making the playoffs drop to 34%.
-Since finally returning from injury Keenan Allen has had 29 targets.
-Mike Williams has come back faster than projected and will play ce soir. Derwin James occupies Doubtful Thomas territory.
-Does McDaniel like to run? Perhaps under certain game scripts but last week the team rushed a scant eight times. Kinda strange given that he was the run game coordinator for the Niners last year. I guess when he sees something he really leans into it.
-The Fins secondary has been devastated by injuries so this has all the makings of a shootout.

lets get this week started
If this is a metaphor, well done.
Last week at work ended with an “I told them so” episode so I anticipate some bullshittin this week heading into the holidays.
I’m a couple of episodes in to Three Pines, the Amazon series starring Alfred Molina as a police inspector in Quebec. It’s pretty good so far.
I have read several of the books, they’re really good
I just finished Andor. It’s so fucking good.

The first successful wildcat play in a decade!
Well, I have some bad news.
My favorite billboard in the world was taken down. Why was it my favorite billboard? Because it said “Jesus loves you.” But, the “loves” was replaced with what should have been a heart. But it wasn’t a heart, it was Jesus’s hand, complete with stigmata wound! Also, this billboard was on I-80, right above Satin Dolls, the strip club that they used to film the Bada Bing in The Sopranos.
In fairness though it’s been replaced with a billboard for a divorce attorney, so I’d say it’s still on brand.
This is mine.
I was gonna go to bed, and now these assholes have roped me right back in.
Never mind, actually.
The well-loved sequel to “Love, Actually”
Even muted, NBC manages to irritate me with their cutesy graphics BS
They played Wipeout, it was bitchin’.
Was a little worried about being knocked out of the LDB Challenge today when I realized the liquor store was playing Christmas music. I survived, and made it home with booze, so win-win!
You bought liquor…on a SUNDAY???
One time in high school my parents were going out of town on Easter weekend. I was telling a friend about my plans, and she was shocked that I was planning to drink on Good Friday. That was just adorable.
When we were Juniors, Gumby took a girl to the prom who was mad he brought liquor. The next year we got hammered and almost knocked the tree over at the Winter Formal.
… like a lady!
I think Hippo is more amazed that you CAN buy liquor on a Sunday, not the morality of it, amirite?
Out here you can buy vodka at the drug store, and the drug store has their own brand of vodka. You can also buy pot and hash right next door. But you can’t buy cigarettes.
RITE, Christ would be so disappoint in your legislature smh
I survived a Christmas stroll on Friday night.
That’s some vintage bailout flag right there.

Very Noirish. That would be good in black and white too!
A different shot. That’s Clifton’s cafeteria on the right:
Burlington Coat Factory?
On the right? Clifton’s Cafeteria “Cabinet of Curiosities”
Burlington is on the left. The parking lot you see on the left goes up and it’s about 7 stories high. The building has windows so it looks like a real building but it’s actually a parking garage.
From there, you get a really good look inside Clifton’s both the cafeteria and the upper levels where they created a club/bar. There’s an exclusive bar on the top level.
Oh wow I didn’t know that, although I vaguely remember the Burlington sign at least. I haven’t been in Clifton’s since before the big remodel.
I haven’t been paying attention, did Tirico just call somebody a “world -renowned penis?”
He said Collinsworth, but same difference.
If you’re the Clips, absolutely run once to make sure you don’t leave time for a response.

Welp, the pizza place where I wanted to order my dinner from isn’t anwering their phone. Perfect cap to my birthday week.
The last NFL game I attended in person was Dolphins vs Chargers at that tiny little stadium in Carson. It was well into the 2nd quarter before I realized that the MIA QB was none other than newly signed Jay Cutler. That was the most exciting part of the game.
was that the one you drafted a BOTG for?
Yeah, I posted pictures while I was there, mostly of how small the stadium was and that the stands were predominantly aqua green. I also saw a local sportscaster exiting a bathroom; I don’t know what he did in there.
“Taking it North”
I put up 59.28 in my money fantasy league this week. I have a 99% chance to win this week since my opponent has New England’s D left and put up 37.22
Did your opponent have any players injured or on bye? Because putting up less than 40 points is quite the achievement.
He started Deejay Dallas Multipass and Tyler Boyd.
wow, that was…a something
Just how you draw it up!
Basically, the Fumblerooski with a whole lot of unwitting accomplices.
Thats why you don’t prematurely celebrate San Diego.
Tom Grossi just showed his dog, post-surgery.
So Tyreek Hill now has the Dolphins single-season reception record, but all it makes me wonder is how many yards Clayton and Duper would have gotten with Marino throwing in today’s game. Like, a million?
In an era where you aren’t allowed to jam WRs or really hit QBs, i think Marino probably DOES win a Superb Owl.
A challenge issued to Laura Palmer.
Call Stands, Twin Peaks was just too complicated FOAR America
Tua turning back into a pumpkin, or is this an OL thing?
“Does it matter if he’s a vegetable?”

I mean, no pricey 2nd contract!
Everything is suddenly being picky and insisting I fake my location with a VPN, so screw you media companies, I’m gonna go read a mediocre book and go to bed!
I am just fading Jeff Wilson and Colonel Mostert, so far so good. Beyond that, is kinda dull so far.
Sorry ML algorithm, but if you are recommending something to me called “single and ready to jingle” you are very poorly tuned indeed
“Single and Ready to Jingle” starring literally half of the Houston 500
It could also be one of those awful films that Scotchy watches every December!
That’s “Sickle and Ready to Pickle (Organs)”
“A single and ready to jingle” is not a half-bad description of Todd’s accumulated takings after working the Imperial Ave. exit ramp earlier this afternoon.
Oh God, Darius Rucker would be a Dolphins fan.
He already told us that Dolphins make him cry!
Just let him be
The couple that I was chatting to during dinner tonight was disappointed they couldn’t watch any football today, so I was filling them in on some scores. They asked about the Buccs, and when I said they lost in a blow out they said “GOOD!”
My kinda people.
Record your conversation when you mention the volcano lair and ass herpes.

I shall watch, but no listen. There are matters of fantasy at stake.
Should be a track meet no?
methinks
Have you made the Skyline chili yet???
Not yet seems like a better idea to do it when I am not grinding 2 jobs
I am down by 15 and have one player left to my opponent’s three. An unfortunately none of them are children so I do not believe my player will be able to beat them.
Is your player Adrian Peterson?
