Tonight, a friend brought me a signed Ickey Woods sign. Then I drank too much Imperial Stout. And then I had some wine and ate some vegan food.
I WILL be hung over tomorrow. But today….,today was a good day. Welcome back, football.
It may be terrible, it may be Cris Collinsworth, BUT it’s football that I don’t have to be horrified to watch. Unlike the Bills game this Friday that will crush my soul in it’s grindstone of offensive incompetence.
My wife is due home in 10 minutes after 5 days away at a conference. I had the kids by myself. Cleaned the house, did the laundry, mowed the lawn, bought back-to-school supplies, and only drank 2 beers the whole time.
Maybe I should start a campfire in the living room just to live up to expectations.
