One more Michigan Tech story that is a brag but also an admission. For my final project I designed a program in a way that was so much more efficient than how they taught it at that level we were taught. I showed the code to my roommate to show how I did it, who showed it to 2 other people. Got accused of academic fraud until I explained what happened. To be fair, the people with no direct connection with me were running a server out of their room with movies that they got by taking in every single persons DVD collection and running a college wide movie hosting site. Had some great movie nights. And they were suspected but never caught because they just moved the server across the hall the day they came to check

I went to Michigan Tech for a year. The “Another one bites the dust” during finals is a very real thing and the ratio of people passing certain classes in the first year are very low. I would like to brag for a second I got a 3.9 (one AB they don’t have A-‘s) I just couldn’t handle the 300″ of snow a year
