NFL News:

• Mason Rudolph finally took some responsibility for his involvement in last Thursday’s excitement against Cleveland.
  • In doing so, the league rewarded him with an undisclosed fine.
  • I’m sure Myles Garrett, who is at league HQ today appealing his season-ending suspension, really appreciates the quid pro quo from the league to a white kid that is really, really sorry.
    • Garrett is basing his appeal around the suspension given to Houston’s Antonio Smith in 2013, who was suspended for two preseason games and one regular-season game for swinging his helmet at then-Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito.
      • And Incognito is way more unlikable than Mason Rudolph.

• Vegas has updated their prediction for the Super Bowl.

  

  • The Westgate Superbook, which sets all of the base odds for sports gaming, has decided on a Saints-Patriots matchup.
    • The Saints are 7/5 faves, and the Pats are 6/5.
      • The Patriots are the 14/5 odds favourites to win it all, followed by the Saints at 4/1.
  • The Saints have displaced the Rams, who were the favourites going into the season.

• Le’Veon Bell is having issues with the league’s HGH testing policy.
  • He lashed out this morning because he’s apparently done five tests in ten weeks, a statistically minute possibility.
    • Given that each week during the preseason and regular season, by means of a computer program, five players from eight randomly selected teams are picked for tests.
    • ESPN also points out that Bell was suspended two games in 2014 after he was charged with marijuana possession and DUI. In 2016, he was suspended four games for missing a drug test.

I done had 5 “random” HGH blood test in 10 weeks…@NFL I’m not doing another after today, whatever y’all lookin for it obviously ain’t there & I’m not about to keep allowing y’all to stick me with those dirty ass needles..find the players who really do that HGH BS & get off me..
